Our customers range in size from single store operators to regional supermarket chains and represent just about every food format in the U.S.
From traditional to specialty, gourmet, natural organic, conventional, Hispanic, Asian, multi-cultural, limited assortment and price value stores, Market Centre customers are constantly finding new ways to set themselves apart.
Here are just a few of the many ways our customers are bringing a world of difference to their communities.
Congratulations to Metropolitan Market’s founder Terry Halverson, CEO Ron Megahan and all of their retail teams on the grand opening of their seventh and first suburban location at The Village at Sammamish Town Center on Wednesday.
As the video shows, Korman officially opened the store to a long line of guests by cutting a huge version of Met Market’s famous and always right-out-of-the-oven, triple chocolate chip cookie.
At 35,000 square feet this store is among the chain’s bigger locations and most innovative. It’s unique European-style décor, dramatic signage and inviting atmosphere achieves their goal of welcoming all shoppers and inspiring them to try new and unusual foods and flavors.
Because it is in a suburban setting, the Sammamish store offers a larger selection of center store items, but also takes Met’s reputation for spectacular quality offerings and superior service to new heights. The store features beautiful fresh departments and an expanded food service including a sauté grill, poke bar, ramen and stone oven pizza, as well as a café, coffee bar, bakery and large mezzanine seating area.
“It has been a pleasure for our teams to work closely with Metropolitan Market’s knowledgeable and friendly staff in bringing this beautiful store to fruition,” said Account Manager Letha George. “This project has been a total team effort across all departments and everyone involved deserves kudos for their efforts and professional expertise. I encourage everybody to visit this store — it’s truly fabulous!”
